Hylee Shelton
Assistant Coach Volleyball
Coaching History: I have been coaching volleyball for the past 8 years. I have coached club volleyball as a head and assistant coach for 15+ teams of varying age groups. I have owned my own volleyball club for the past 3 years, and serve as the director. I was the assistant beach volleyball coach for Victor Valley College during the 2019 and 2020 season, and I'm the current assistant coach for the indoor team since the 2024 season. I have also volunteered for the Special Olympics team. I coached the Apple Valley High School freshman team from 2019-2021, and the Granite Hills High Schools JV team from 2022-2023.

Coaching Philosophy: It is most important to me to teach my athletes to play with confidence and character. They should always be looking forward to the next play and focusing on the things they have in their control.
Family and Personal Information: My family has lived in Apple Valley for four generations, I graduated from Apple Valley High School and then went on to graduate from Victor Valley College. I have been married to my husband Donovan for 9 years, and we have 4 year old twins named Jaxson and Stella.
