The Victor Valley College Rams Volleyball team delivered a commanding performance on their home court Thursday night, sweeping Chaffey College in straight sets to secure a season sweep. With set scores of 25-21, 25-13, and 25-22, the Rams showcased their grit, teamwork, and relentless energy from the first serve to the final point.
The opening set saw both teams trading points in a tightly contested battle, but the Rams pulled ahead late with clutch plays and strong defensive stands to take the set 25-21. The second set was all Rams, as they surged ahead early and never looked back, dominating Chaffey 25-13 with aggressive serving and precise execution. In the third and final set, Chaffey attempted a comeback, but the Rams held firm, closing out the match 25-22 and sealing the sweep.
This victory marks the Rams' second win over Chaffey this season, completing a season sweep and bouncing back after giving up a 2 set lead at Cerro Coso on Wednesday. The team's success was fueled by hustle plays, smart court awareness, and a unified effort that kept the energy high and the momentum in their favor.
Head Coach Peter Ong praised the team's performance:

The Rams now turn their focus to their next challenge: a road matchup against College of the Desert on Wednesday, October 29th at 5:00 PM. With confidence riding high, the team looks to carry their winning momentum into the final stretch of the season.
