The Victor Valley College Softball team put together a powerful doubleheader sweep on Friday afternoon, defeating Ventura in back‑to‑back games 6–5 and 9–6 at home. The Rams showcased poise, timely hitting, and explosive offense throughout the day, securing a momentum‑building sweep as the season heats up.
Game 1 Recap — VVC 6, Ventura 5
The Rams struck early with a pair of first‑inning runs before erupting for a three‑run fourth inning that ultimately made the difference. Victor Valley collected 8 hits in Game 1, capitalizing on scoring chances and applying constant pressure.
Offensively, the Rams were led by:
