VVC Women’s Wrestling Earns Podium Finishes at State Tournament

The Victor Valley College women's wrestling team capped off an outstanding season by competing at the State Tournament this weekend, placing three athletes on the podium and continuing the program's upward momentum at the state level.
After a long and demanding season, the Lady Rams earned the opportunity to test themselves against the top competition in California. The team battled throughout the day, showing resilience, focus, and determination in every match.
"I believe our team did well," the coach shared. "They competed all day and gave their best effort."

- 8th Place – Paola Cruz Andrade
- 8th Place – Dayanara Martinez
Placing three wrestlers at the State Tournament represents a major step forward for the VVC women's wrestling program. This success builds on an already impressive year, highlighted by winning the conference championship earlier in the season.
