Victor Valley wasted no time taking control of the matchup, jumping out to a 19–4 lead in the first quarter and never looking back. The Rams extended their advantage with a 20-point second quarter, entering halftime ahead 39–9. Their energy only increased from there, as VVC posted 22 points in the third and 25 in the fourth to seal a convincing home victory.
