The Victor Valley College Women's Basketball team opened the new year with a thrilling 88–81 overtime win on the road against Chaffey College on Wednesday night. The victory lifts the Rams to 12–4 overall and keeps them tied for first place in the IEAC at 4–0, continuing their dominant start to conference play.

Victor Valley came out strong in the first quarter, shooting 50% from the field and establishing a 22–21 lead. The momentum shifted in the second, where the Rams endured a cold stretch and scored just 7 points, trailing 37–29 at halftime.
The Rams responded with their best offensive period of the night, exploding for 29 points on 66.7% shooting in the third quarter to retake control. Chaffey countered in the fourth to force overtime, but Victor Valley dominated the extra session, outscoring the hosts 16–9 to secure the win.

Mya Graham‑Scott led the way with a game‑high 28 points, adding 5 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals in 34 high‑impact minutes.
