Rams Close Out 2025 with Statement Win Over No. 24 Long Beach, 53–49
The Victor Valley College Women's Basketball team ended the year on a high note, earning a hard-fought 53–49 victory over state-ranked No. 24 Long Beach City College at home on Tuesday night. The win improves the Rams to 10–4 overall and underscores their ability to compete with the best in California.

Victor Valley battled through a defensive slugfest, trailing 20–15 after the first quarter before locking down Long Beach in the second and third periods. The Rams held their opponent to just 6 points in the third quarter, turning the tide and entering the final frame with a slim lead. VVC's defense and timely scoring in the fourth sealed the upset win.
The Rams shot 47.8% from the field, including 35.7% from three-point range, and grabbed 46 rebounds to control the glass. Their defensive intensity forced Long Beach into tough shots and limited second-chance opportunities.
