Victor Valley College Women’s Basketball 2025 Season Preview
The Victor Valley College Women's Basketball team, led by Head Coach Troy Hall, is preparing for an ambitious 2025 season with a roster that blends experienced returners and impactful newcomers. The Rams will tip off their season at the Mt. SAC Tip Off Tournament on Friday, October 31 at 3:00 p.m. against Merritt. The first home game is set for Thursday, November 6 at 6:00 p.m. against Orange Coast.
Coach Hall returns several key players, including Belinda Rincon (guard), Myla Gibson (forward), and Breanna Bates (shooting guard). The team is also bolstered by new impact players: Savanna Win (guard), Mya Johnson (forward), and Mya Graham Scott (guard). Stella Rider (shooting guard) is also expected to contribute this season.
"Our goal is to make it deep in the playoffs. We have a lot of good guards—that's going to be the strength until the second half of the season when our big girls are able to play," said Coach Hall.
Coach Hall is enthusiastic about the team's potential and the contributions of the freshman class. "I'm excited to see what my freshmen are going to bring to the table. I'm always excited about every game," Hall shared.
The Rams are looking forward to competing in the Mt. SAC tournament in front of coaches from across the region, as well as facing big games against Mount San Jacinto. "We're coming for the conference championship," Coach Hall declared.
With a strong backcourt and the promise of additional depth as the season progresses, Victor Valley College Women's Basketball is poised for a competitive and exciting year.
