Toni Santa Cruz
Assistant Softball Coach
Coaching History: I served as the assistant softball coach at Sierra Vista High School in Baldwin Park, CA from 2020 to 2021, and have been coaching at Victor Valley College since 2022.
Achievements: As a player at Sierra Vista High School, I was named First Team All-League for two consecutive years. Returning as a coach, I helped guide the team to a first-place finish in the Mountview League. Throughout my coaching career, I’ve taken pride in mentoring athletes and supporting their goals, including helping several move on to play and study at the university level.
Coaching Philosophy: Softball has always been a sport I’ve loved, and I want to pass that passion on. I believe athletes should enjoy the journey while striving to grow as players, students, and individuals. With communication, hard work, and dedication, anything is possible.
Family and Personal Information: I played softball at the University of La Verne from 2017 to 2021, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Criminology with a minor in Psychology. I’m originally from Baldwin Park, California.
