Bio

Current Position: Assistant coach-softball

Coaching History:
I have coached many years at the youth and high school levels. Last recently at Excelsior Charter School as an assistant varsity softball coach. Currently, I coach for one of the most notable travel ball organizations in the nation, Corona Angels. I also provide individual lessons ranging from 8 year olds to college level players focusing on skill development and mental health performance.

Achievements:
As an athlete, I received numerous athletic and student athlete awards from high school through college (Student athlete of the year my senior year of college). During my collegiate career, we captured CACC tournament titles, advanced to NCAA regionals and placing in the top 25 of the NFCA Division II poll. As a coach, I led the high school team (Excelsior Charter) to the semifinals of the CIF Division VIII title, a first for the schools program history. For youth coaching, I recently led my travel ball team to the finals at the Alliance Fastpitch Nationals in Arizona.

Coaching Philosophy:
My coaching philosophy not only focuses on the physical development of the game but more of the mental health aspect of it. My goal as a coach is to assist players improve their awareness of their mental state and emotions so that they may optimize their athletic performance.

Family and Personal Information:
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Forensics Psychology . I am married and have two children and we are huge Dodgers fans!
