Two Lady Rams Softball Players Sign Scholarships
Victor Valley College is proud to announce that two of its standout softball players, Corra Utash and Bailey Frye, have signed scholarships to continue their academic and athletic careers at Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota. This is a huge accomplishment for both players and a testament to their hard work, dedication, and talent on the field.
Corra Utash, a freshman at VVC, had an outstanding season with the Rams in 2024. She was named to the Inland Empire Athletic Conference first team and led the conference in batting average, RBI's, and home runs. Her performance on the field caught the attention of Concordia College, and they were quick to offer her a scholarship to join their softball program. Corra's skills and leadership will undoubtedly be a valuable asset to the team as they strive for success in the upcoming seasons.
Bailey Frye, another talented player from Apple Valley High School, also made a name for herself. After transferring from Long Beach City College, where she was an All State pitcher, Bailey came to VVC with plans to play the 2025 season. Concordia came calling and those plans changed.
Both Corra and Bailey have worked tirelessly to reach this point in their careers, and their dedication has paid off in the form of scholarships to play at the next level. Victor Valley College is incredibly proud of these two athletes and wishes them all the best as they embark on this new chapter in their lives. We have no doubt that they will continue to excel both academically and athletically at Concordia College, and we look forward to following their success in the years to come.
Congratulations, Corra and Bailey – you have made us proud!
