Rams Secure First Conference Win in Nail-Biter, 67–66
The Victor Valley College Men's Basketball team earned its first conference win of the season in dramatic fashion, defeating Cerro Coso 67–66 on the road Wednesday night. The victory improves the Rams to 3–11 overall and 1–1 in conference play.
Game Recap
Victor Valley jumped out strong, scoring 29 points in the first half to take a slim one-point lead at the break. The second half was a back-and-forth battle, with both teams trading baskets down the stretch. The Rams held firm in the closing moments to secure the one-point win.
VVC shot 44.3% from the field, including 30.4% from three-point range, and converted 60% of their free throws. The Rams also pulled down 28 rebounds and dished out 18 assists, showing balance and teamwork in a high-pressure game.

- Quintin Aguilar led the way with an efficient 22 points on 10-of-13 shooting, adding 8 rebounds and 3 steals.
- Derrick Hankins scored 12 points and contributed 4 assists.
