Victorville - The Victor Valley College basketball team is getting ready for the season opener on Nov. 1 when the Rams will travel to 

A new coach has brought a new attitude to the Victor Valley College Men's team. Prentiss Harris takes over the squad that does have some veterans on the roster he will lean on for leadership.

 

"We have two players who have worn a Victor Valley jersey before in Alijah Gonslaves and Tyler Baskett," Harris said. We also have a sophomore Kany Rey who has college experience."

Harris expects his team to play with great defense and intensity.

 

"Defense is the motto for the team," Harris added. "We will play an exciting brand of basketball that all fans will enjoy watching."

 

Harris is planning on success and the Rams will be tested on Nov. 1 against Compton.
