Bio
Hello Student-Athletes,
My name is Amairany, and I’m excited to work with you as your athletic counselor! I bring five years of counseling experience supporting community college students from diverse backgrounds. I’m deeply passionate about my role and look forward to supporting you throughout your journey at VVC, helping guide your academic and athletic aspirations and empowering you to reach your goals.
A little about me: I proudly identify as a first-generation college student. My educational journey includes Chaffey College, Cal Poly Pomona, and the University of La Verne, where I earned degrees in Business Administration, Fashion Merchandising, and Educational Counseling. Along my path, I overcame challenges that helped shape who I am today. Those experiences fuel my commitment to helping students navigate obstacles, build confidence, and achieve success.
Fun fact: I played soccer for 20+ years
