Hall of Fame Inductees Announced

The Victor Valley College Athletics Hall of Fame proudly inducts its 2025 class, celebrating the remarkable achievements of its honorees. This year, the Hall of Fame recognizes four outstanding individuals:

Christa White: Serving as the Women's Volleyball coach at VVC for 23 seasons from 1996 to 2018, Christa White amassed over 450 victories and led the Rams to seven conference championships. Beyond her coaching success, Christa was a dedicated faculty member in Kinesiology until her retirement in 2024, leaving a lasting legacy on and off the court.

Jamel Richardson: A standout player for the Rams football team from 2001 to 2002, Jamel Richardson was the leading receiver in the state, earning 1st team all-state and 1st team all-American honors. Jamel's professional career in the CFL spanned from 2003 to 2014, during which he won the Grey Cup in 2009 and 2010, and was named Grey Cup MVP in 2010. He also had a stint with the Dallas Cowboys in 2007 before returning to the CFL, where he was a CFL All-Star from 2008 to 2011.

Bianca Gorospe: Bianca Gorospe shone brightly for the Rams women's volleyball team from 2002 to 2003, earning accolades as the team's Most Valuable Player and Best Offensive Player. She was a first team All-Conference selection and part of the All-Southern California regional team. Bianca continued her volleyball career at Cal State LA, leading the team in kills and earning second-team All-California Collegiate Athletics Association honors. She made history as the first High Desert volleyball player to play professionally in France and Switzerland.

Jimmy Musgrave: Playing football for the Rams from 2012 to 2013, Jimmy Musgrave was an All-Conference and All-State selection, leading the team in tackles as a linebacker. His academic excellence, maintaining a 4.0 GPA, earned him a Division 1 scholarship to the University of Texas El Paso. At UTEP, Jimmy was second on the team in tackles his senior year and served as team captain. Jimmy continues to contribute to the community as a Sheriff deputy in San Bernardino County.
These inductees exemplify the spirit of excellence, character, and longevity, that the VVC Athletics Hall of Fame seeks to honor.
This year's class will be inducted at the Athletics End of Year Celebration & Hall of Fame Ceremony on May 10th, 2025 at the Victor Valley College Educational Event Center.
